I need to travel From Paris to Lucerne, Switzerland.
I am planning ti buy Swiss pass At Basel, Sbb.
I looked up the price for two tickets one-way between Paris and Basel, it is $176 in RailEurope.
I also read that raileurope doe snot offer the best prices.
Do I have to buy through sncf, if so how do I get the Englsih version of it?
Can I buy the tickets in the train station?
I will be travelling on a Sunday morning in September
Thank you

Check seat61.com for step-by-step advice on buying tickets, as you may, depending on the ticket you are buying, need to navigate it in French. It is true that raileurope does not offer the best price, it is a consortium set up by a couple of the European rail lines specifically to sell to North American clients and it doesn%26#39;t usually offer the cheapest prices nor does it show you all the trains. There is also a thread currently going on tripadvisor by morgan, I believe, that you should be able to find easily that also gives advice on buying train tickets.
