Anyone have recommendations for restaurants in the 8th? Not looking for haute cusisine. We prefer the smaller, intimate places with reasonble prices and great atmosphere, table cloths, candlelight, ambiance and of course good french food!

The 8th is a quite large. What area are you thinking of?

near Marriott Champs Elysees, thanks.

The Champs is loaded with restaurants, but I don%26#39;t know of many small and intimate restaurants in that neighborhood. Flora Danica is good (Danish food). There is an excellent bistro not far away: Chez Andre,12 rue Marbeuf. It is very popular and noisy, the food is good, and the prices aren%26#39;t outrageous. You should definitely book ahead. If you like Lebanese food, try one of the Noura restaurants nearby. Or hop on the metro and go to another neighborhood for a small %26amp; intimate sort of experience.

rue Marboeuf, there are several restaurants.
I really like the %26quot;Maison de l%26#39;Aubrac%26quot; with great meat coming from the Aubrac region : http://maps.google.fr/maps?f=q%26amp;source=s_q%26amp;hl=fr%26amp;q=Rue+Marbeuf,+75008+Paris,+Ile-de-France%26amp;sll=46.75984,1.738281%26amp;sspn=8.672102,23.181152%26amp;ie=UTF8%26amp;cd=1%26amp;geocode=Ffas6QIdeCYjAA%26amp;split=0%26amp;ll=48.869415,2.305026%26amp;spn=0.00813,0.022638%26amp;z=16%26amp;iwloc=A%26amp;layer=c%26amp;cbll=48.869468,2.305132%26amp;panoid=VNmo7axCv-UaDxmPpdu-wA%26amp;cbp=12,11.33,,0,2.53
