We are taking a few days at the end of September to drive/explore along the Mediterranean. Am looking for winery tasting rooms with English-speaking staff. We will be exploring the coast from Cassis to La Croix Valmer. Any recommendations are welcomed -- and thanks in advance!

I%26#39;ve just recently returned from a holiday in Cabasson, which is a small hamlet near Le Lavandou at the eastern end of your Itinery (it%26#39;s on the coast, south of the delightful hill village of Bormes Les Mimosas, and signposted from the main Hyeres - St.Tropez road).
There are two small vineyards there, a smart looking one called Malherbe which I didn%26#39;t visit (although I very much enjoyed a bottle of their %26#39;Reserve%26#39; White at a restaurant), and one with a very pretty old chateau and %26#39;Vende de Vin%26#39; in a picturesque farmyard. It was called Chateau Bregancon, and the staff were friendly and english-speaking (well, enough to explain to me the various products and offer me a taste or three...)
The wine shop was small but very nice, and worth the very short detour (the Chateau owners even maintain their own beach there, L%26#39;Estagnol I think it was called, which you can visit for 8 euros/car/day - although it was packed when we went) but if you are mainly concerned with the Vin, my personal opinion was that their basic Rose was actually nicer than the %26#39;Reserve%26#39; (indeed, I bought a case); we also had a bottle or two of their %26#39;Reserve%26#39; white and red, which were decent enough, but never got around to trying their very best offerings.
I expect both have got Websites you could Google, but in terms of simple directions, from Cassis direction just turn right off the main road at the Cabasson / Isle de Bregancon turning (just before Le Lavandou), follow the road for, what, 10km? until you are almost at the sea - turn left at the junction and head toward Cabasson for Malherbe, or right for Chateau Bregancon, which you can see up on the hill. Either route takes you through their respective vineyards, we saw plenty of naughty frenchies stopping to nick bunches of ripe grapes! PS their basic wines are in all the local supermarkets, and quite reasonably priced. Happy Tasting!
