An apt to avoid in 16th district: 5 Square Mignot

If you%26#39;re using Craigslist or Gabinohome, make sure to avoid a listing of Samuel, at 5 Square Mignot, 75116 Paris. In fact, Samuel lives in the apartment, sleeps on the couch shown in the pictures, and wears no clothes. When asked repeatedly by my daughter and her girlfriend to put clothes on while he sat leering at them from his computer, t.v, etc., he would not. They were so creeped out that they left after 2 days, even though these bargain hunters had given 1/2 of a full week%26#39;s deposit by Paypal. Beware of Samuel.

Wait a minute. Do you mean that two girls showed up an apartment that was inhabited? and that they stayed there anyway?

Methinks I smell a troll.

|||

Sunshine, I think you%26#39;ve shed some light on that troll!!

Why in the world would you even step through the door if you had any thought at all that someone is LIVING there?!

Why in the world would you stay once you established that fact?!

Why in the world would you not call the authorities -- as it%26#39;s not rental of a flat?!

Did this person not send a rental contract?

Did anyone contact Paypal about a refund for fraud?

People...think, think, think. If it seems fishy, it probably is. Don%26#39;t continue on with it, thinking that there must be some misunderstanding.

If this story has even a shred of truth, the posters need to make their way posthaste to every authority they can think of.

Sunshine, it is a cheap way to travel and there are websites dedicated to it. I can%26#39;t recall the name right now, but there is one site wher eyou stay on someone%26#39;s couch. I do know a few people who have traveled this way. Usually it works well.

BUT USUALLY it is FREE and USUALLY you know that the host is staying. I do imagine that things can o wrong, as it may have for this poster%26#39;s kid.

Phread, I%26#39;ve heard of that trend -- couchsurfing, maybe? But you, the traveler, are supposed to sleep on the couch, and you KNOW that the residents are going to be staying, and yes, it%26#39;s my understanding that it%26#39;s free, because you%26#39;ll host someone else down the line...guess I%26#39;m too old, because the creepy scenarios would seem to outnumber the decent ones!

gagnerParis, you%26#39;ll notice I wrote %26quot;Why in the world would you stay once you established that fact?!%26quot; -- I was allowing that there was some way that he made it look like you were renting an uninhabited apartment.

It also looks like someone has taken action of something...the craigslist posting appears to be gone.
