Ballet in Paris?

Im traveling to Paris next week with my girlfriend. She absolutely loves dance/ballet and wants to catch a performance. I dont know where to start on how to find tickets....is it too late? We will be there from 8/27-8/31. I looked at the Paris Opera and the calender started in September, are there no performances in the summer?

My friend and I have tickets to the ballet however the performance is not until September. I checked the Palais Garnier website and it looks like the season doesn%26#39;t start until Sept. If you%26#39;re staying at a hotel with a concierge you might try to contact them for more information (that%26#39;s how we were able to get our tickets.)

Use Google %26quot;Ballet in Paris in August. Tour the Garnier, it%26#39;s fabulous and redone about 5 years ago.

This is the official Palais Garnier web site. http://www.operadeparis.fr/cns11/live/onp/

It is late to order tickets. One suggestion is to check the website to see if there is anything you want to see. Ballet is not always offered at the Garnier, (sometimes there is opera) you may have to go to the Bastille. If there is something on at the Garnier that you want to see you can go a little early and see if anyone has extra tickets to sell. I sold a ticket there one time because I had an extra. I just held it up and sold it right away, at face value of course. I asked at their box office and it%26#39;s O.K. to do this. I%26#39;ve never ordered tickets this late on the website but if there%26#39;s any available you would be picking them up at the box office anyway so it might work. It%26#39;s a fabulous experience if you can arrange it. Hope this helps a little. Sorry for the all the rambling.
