I%26#39;ve heard here may be worth a visit, what would be the easiest way to get there from Nice?

Its easy and cheap by bus or train
Bus 100 or 81 from main bus station cost 1 euro -buses are more frequent than the train service during the day but the train is closer to the beach etc

Depends mainly on where you are staying whether to get bus or train. Buses are cheaper, more frequent and more reliable. Bus 100, every 15 minutes, or bus 81. Takes about 15/20 mins to get there. From bus stop it is a steep 5/10 min down hill walk to the seafront. Train takes seven minutes but they don%26#39;t always turn up.

Villefranche sur-mer is definitely worth visiting. We loved it! We went from the Niceville train station and it took about 15 minutes. Very easy!

A few years ago, we spent six nights in Villefranche-sur-Mer. We stayed at the Hotel Welcome. The bus stand is right across from the hotel. We went all around the area from there. We loved it. Very good and inexpensive eating places up the hill from the port.
But I have to say that Villefranche, as pleasant as it is, is not a destination in itself.
I would take the bus from Nice, as mentioned earlier. The train station is at the top of a huge flight of stairs.
