Plaque cemetery and ossuary

Somewhere (so many books and papers!!) I remember reading about a cemetery in Rouen with an ossuary (?still open) of thousands of plague victims. Any up to date information?? thanks!

Your memory is distorting the truth.

There is a place at Rouen called l%26#39;aitre de St Maclou. It was a cemetery in the XVIc when there was a plague. It is now the art school. But it%26#39;s a very eary place to visit. The carvings on the wooden beams are of sculls and instruments of death.

It%26#39;s behind St Maclou Church.

CPMAC, so the art school is the location where the cemetery used to be? Is there actually an ossuary anywhere nearby?
