naturist beaches?

Would be grateful for info on beaches that tolerate naturism, preferably around Calvi. Thanks!

The only naturist beach I know of is the Plage de Perajola, its just to the east of Ile Rousse. You turn off the new road by the Hotel Ostriccioni (?), go on to the old corniche road, park up and clamber down the hill on to the beach. It is an undeveloped beach but very nice and good sand. There are naturists on the beach quite openly as well as those with swimwear on.

I have usually found that the less crowded beaches often have naturists to the sides. I mean, people sunbathing and swimming naked, as well as picnicking or whatever. You would have to dress to go into a beach bar or play volleyball!

Other than perhaps in the most crowded town beach, nudity should not be a problem. Virtually every beach can be topless.

The beach at Aljagola (half way between Calvi and Ille Rousse) has nudists a-plenty at the far end of the beach from the town. My 4 year old daughter%26#39;s eyes were out on stalks when we walked up there and she asked many an awkward question!! Suffice to say we stayed at the town end of the beach from then on. But there did seem to be a nice restuarant up that end of the beach - whether you can rock up there in the buff, as I said, we didn%26#39;t hang around to find out!!

There%26#39;s a naturist beach near Porto Vecchio, I think it is called La Chiappa...

Back from Corsica and just wanted to report that the police actually stalked the beach at Algajola. However, they weren%26#39;t particularly punitive, just handed out leaflets or VERY politely asked people to put some clothes on.

Well Algajola is a nice little family resort with a good beach and perhaps the locals or the Mayor don%26#39;t want naked people on their beach - there are wild beaches on Corsica (like Perajola described above) which are really much more suitable for naturists, as nature intended and all that. Did you get to any of the beaches suggested (besides Algajola) ?
