which shuttle service do you recommend to hotel?

Hi everyone-

My husband and I will be in Paris in a little under a month (yay!) and I want to reserve a shuttle from CDG to our hotel and back later in the week.

What shuttle service do you recommend? It seems that there are many similarly priced options so I would like to know what ones people have had good luck or bad experiences with.

Thanks!

My personal recommendation is to take a taxi from the taxi queue. If you insist upon a shuttle, avoid shared ride shuttles as the en route time to your destination can be lengthy. Waiting for others to arrive and then dropping your fellow passengers at their various hotels can be time consuming.

Among the private van companies where general receive good reviews here are:

Another company which I believe is a newer entrant into the shuttle business is Allonavette. Their prices are more than competitive but their record is yet to be firmly established:

thanks- One thing I have been somewhat confused about - how much more is it to take a taxi? We are definitely fine with paying a little more but I am confused as to how much more it is.

..agree with above. If you travel light and if your hotel is very central, I would suggest the RER as another option. A taxi to central Paris from Roissy is about 50 euro...can be less and if you hit a %26quot;bouchon%26quot; can be more but 50 is a good number to budget.

Taxis and private shuttles are very similarly priced. If you have 5 or 6 adults, a private shuttle may become more attractive but there are taxi operators using vans as well.

With the relatively recent addition of HOV lanes on A1 from Roissy (CDG) towards the périphérique, taxi en route times and costs have stabilized. Most central destinations may be reached with a 50€ fare.

I generally do not recommend the RER/Métro for traveling into Paris for first time visitors. It%26#39;s not terribly difficult and the price is inexpensive but one%26#39;s first visit (and with luggage) is not the time to risk becoming disoriented in the Métro.
