Geneva airport to Annecy by public transport

I recently had the problem of getting from Geneva airport to Annecy by public transport. I took a taxi from the airport to the bus station in Geneva , 25 euros ( don%26#39;t forget to say which bus you want as there is more than one bus station). Then I took the bus to Annecy, 11.5 euros (the timetable can be found online at Frossard%26#39;s website). The bus journey is 1.5 hours but the buses are much more frequent from the bus station than from the airport.

If your luggage isn%26#39;t too dificult to manage, it really isn%26#39;t necessary to take a taxi from the airport to the bus station.

Trains are fantastic and extremely quick from the airport to the central train station in Geneva. Then either you take a very short walk to the Geneva bus station, or just wait right outside the front of the train station (although you may need to ask someone where to stand, as there%26#39;s no obvious bus stop)-the bus to Annecy stops at the train station after it leaves the bus station.

There is indeed a CFF train station inside the airport in Geneva. There are very frequent trains going from the airport to Genève Cornavin, the main station in Geneva. From there, if you want to take the train to Annecy, there are trains going there, with a connection in Aix-les-Bains Le Revard.
