Will be driving with my girlfriend from Calais to Cannes end of August (Soon :-))
We will have a stop over in either Dijon or another nice place in Burgundy, and would like to hear if anyone can recommend some good romantic places?
We are driving ourself, so if there is a wine castle or something with a good restaurent - that would be preferable.

Take a look at Auberge du Paradis in Saint-Amour-Bellevue. It is 1.5 hours drive south of Dijon, about 5km off the A6. The village is very small, with the Auberge, a wine shop, a bar restaurant and not much else, but it is a greaat little area to walk around, the Auberge is quite romantic with a clawfoot bath in some of the bedrooms, and the auberge restaurant is very nice, although it is not cheap.
