RER question

Hi all, from Gare du Nord to the Tour Eiffel stop, how much will that cost me?

Do I have to buy seperate tickets for the following:

RER B - Direction : Saint-Remy-les-Chevreuse from : Gare du Nord to : Saint-Michel Notre-Dame

RER C - Direction : Versailles-Rive Gauche from : Saint-Michel Notre-Dame to : Champ de Mars-Tour Eiffel?

Thank you

It%26#39;ll cost you one euro and sixty centimes for that journey. It%26#39;ll only cost you more if you physically exit the station at St Michel and enter the street. If you just switch platforms it is one ticket all the way from Gare Du Nord to Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel.

No - you don%26#39;t need separate tickets. Buy your ticket at Gare du Nord and it is good for both sectors as long as you do not go through the exit barriers. Make sure you keep your ticket as you will need it to change trains at St Michel ND and to exit the network at Champ de Mars.

An easier (but much longer) alternative is the 42 bus which starts at Gare du Nord and goes to Champ de Mars. Just follow signs for %26quot;BUS%26quot; at GDN then look for the 42 bus stop when you get to the bus station. One ticket is all that you need.

If you buy a %26#39;carnet%26#39; of 10 tickets, the price is cheaper. The tickets are valid within Paris on the metro, RER, buses and tramways.

You can even transfer between buses and tramways on the same ticket for 90 minutes.
