more on exchange rates/BNP Paribas

This may have already been covered and I apologize in advance, but what is the exchange rate that you receive when you withdraw out of an ATM in Paris? (assuming using BOA card at BNP Paribas). Does it change daily depending on current rates or do they give you a worse rate to compensate for the no fee?

Thanks!

The exchange rate at every single ATM in the world changes daily.

The only way to know if you got a good deal is to check the real exchange rate every day and to compare it to the rate you got. Of course, to really check, you will have to withdraw money from the ATMs of different banks. Are you ready to do so?

Most of us just put up with the rate we get.

This said, I am a BNP Paribas customer and have had no complaint myself with the rates I have received for withdrawing dollars from Bank of America ATMs in the U.S.

I%26#39;m pretty sure the exchange rate you get using BOA ATM card at BNP Paribas is 1% off the interbank rate. With no extra fees

You can%26#39;t get a better rate (unless you are a banker!)

thank you all!

I would also mention that BNP Paribas has ATM all over France, so access to money was very easy.
