Did anybody book an apartment on this web site?

Any advise?

We are about to. Did you get any response? Did you book with them?

We booked an apartment through this agency and are almost at the end of our stay in the apartment. They are real people, the apartments do exist. I would use this service again. The apartment option was good for us as I was working in Paris for a three week assignment and took the family (husband and 3 teenage boys) along.

Merci for that.

Yes ,we did.

Everything was ok. The apartment was exactlley was on the internet and a very nice lady waited for us there.

We stayed one week and we did not have any problem. We did not need them at all. When we left we lock the door and we left the key inside.

We can book with them!

We are spending 11 days in an apartment in Paris in the Marais Quarter. We found the apartment on www.apartofparis.com. We are still getting used to the European process with short term apartments of paying a good percentage of the cost up front at the time of booking on a non-refundable basis. In this case it is 50%. The balance is paid on arrival. Also we needed to take out insurance for our rental (3% of the total cost). We can either clean the apartment ourselves at the end of our stay or pay 50 Euros for cleaning. This seems to be pretty standard for apartment rentals most places we have been.

We ran into the situation where we had booked about a month a head (not a huge selection of apartments available by that time) and our travel plans changed where we needed to arrive a week earlier and cut our total stay down by a few days. Our contact, Joanna, has been very accommodating all along and was a great help here. Because our apartment was still available she was able to move us forward but because we were reducing our stay with less than one month%26#39;s notice she was not able to get a reduction on the amount already agreed on.

We are a group of 5 (3 adults and 2 children - a 5 year old and a 3 year old). We found that a couple of apartments that were rated for 4 people but in the small print found that there was an extra bed for a small child.

We have found that apartments work well for us as a young family vacationing in Europe. We don%26#39;t always want to eat out and we are happy to make our beds, and clean up after ourselves. When the sightseeing gets too much, it is great to have a big space to catch our breath in as opposed to all trying to squeeze into a single hotel room. And for us it works out better value for money.

We found Joanna and her staff professional and easy to work with and as my French is rudimentary at best, it was a bonus to arrange our accommodation in English.
