Bourg St Maurice to Megeve

I%26#39;m looking to get from London to Megeve and see there is a train to Bourg St Maurice. Does anyone know how I can get from Bourg St Maurice to Megeve?

Hi,

Although yes it is possible to take the train to Bourg-Saint-Maurice from the UK (London St Pancras) which goes via a place called Ugine,then through Albertville and up the valley to Bourg,i dont think that it would then be benificial to then go from Bourg to Megeve via train( i do not think it is possible but may be wrong.

Ugine would be the natural point at which the train would part off to go up the valley to Megeve,but its not an option i think.

I think you would be better to fly to Geneva from say Stansted (return flights can be from as low as £45 - £50 with easyjet) and from Geneva take the scheduled ski bus to Megeve,i have had a look on the Geneva Airport website www.gva.ch and you can travel by transfer from Geneva airport to Megeve for 75 euros if you buy you%26#39;re ticket at the airport,or 71 euros if you buy online (these prices are for a return ticket the link to the ski bus routes and prices etc is below.

If you get off the train at Albertville before you reach Bourg St Maurice, there will be a bus from there along the Gorge D%26#39;Arly towards Sallanches. Borini run this service.
