Hôtel de Soubise (Musée de l'Histoire de France )

Hello,

I just ran across this museum. It is the Musée de l%26#39;Histoire de France. I love history, and was wondering if anyone had visited and what you thought.

Thanks in advance!

Went there a couple of weeks ago. It%26#39;s a large house (palace really) in the Marais, and it contains the National Archives. The rooms now open to the public are mostly over-the-top 18th century Rocaille style but a bit down at the heels. If you love architecture, this is a real gem. And the neighborhood is wonderful for wandering. Lots of interesting shops and cafes.

Also, since you are interested in history, be sure to visit the Carnavalet museum, not far from there. It is the history museum of the City of Paris.
