1 night stay near Nice - Any Advice?

Hi,

Will be flying from NY to Nice and back to NY in July 2010. Driving to %26amp; staying in the Languedoc region. Need a place to stay for 1 night prior to returning home from Nice airport. Must be near beach and Nice airport (say 20-30 minutes driving time maximum). Expect to arrive early AM in the Nice area. Looking for something small, comfortable and genuine. Are there such places as B%26amp;B%26#39;s (Bed %26amp; Breakfast%26#39;s in the States) in France? A nice small boutique hotel would be acceptable. I realize it%26#39;s high season but I am not looking to spend 300-400 Euros for a room for a night. Looking for %26quot;reasonable%26quot; (realistic?).Any suggestions or recommendations? Any and all advice appreciated! Thanks in advance! Tim14

HI, ive just booked into the All Seaons hotel at the airport. Its a new hotel right next to the airport so very easy access, also bus to Nice takes only 15-20 min. Were going 29-31 August so high season and got a stunning price of 60Euro a night, its got a pool, bar and breakfast is included!! Look out for my trip report next month. If you want to splash out, id go for the Raddison on the seafront, its around 200 euro a night and looks fab, alot of the places in Nice are old and quaint, not my cup of tea but the Rad looks very modern. Enjoy where ever you end up!!

Hi,

If I had only one night in Nice, I would go to the %26quot;Old Town%26quot; In the big square, where they have the Flower Market in the morning, there are restraunts at night. It is beautiful.

Have fun,

Marilyn

With a car, you might also want to consider B%26amp;Bs on the Cap d%26#39;Antibes - Villa Panko ,the Bastide du Bosquet.

Hope this helps
