I understand this bistro is is a rather depressed area. True? If so, what is the best way to get back to hotel after dinner? Are taxis available in this area, late at night?

The last time we ate there we walked to our hotel. I am sure you%26#39;ll have no problem having the restaurant call a cab for you.
My observation is that L%26#39;Ami Louis is patronized largely by American tourists so you will not be the first to ask them to call a taxi.

The area around the Metro @ La Tour Mauborg is very middle middle class, close to Invalides. Use the Metro both ways and don%26#39;t give it a thought.
