Eiffel Tower - Worth reserving?

I%26#39;ve heard the Eiffel Tower will start online reservations this year (though I don%26#39;t know the site), would it be worth reserving?

So far, that%26#39;s just a rumor, and only groups can reserve (which is actually nothing new).

It will be interesting to see whether they do come up with a system for individual reservations, as, presumably, they%26#39;ll still have to save space for walk-ups or only those with reservations well ahead of time would be able to go up in the elevators, and/or then lines would likely be impossible for those without advance tickets.

Of course, it would be %26quot;worth%26quot; reserving to avoid standing in long lines to purchase tickets and wait for elevators. But, what if it%26#39;s pouring down rain or unbearably hot and sunny at your reserved time?
