Places to eat with child near to La Garde Freinet

Hi

We will be staying in an apartment in La Garde Freinet with our 18 month old daughter in early September.

Can anyone suggest places to eat either in La Garde Freinet or within around 30 mins drive, either for lunch or early evening, serving nice food and suitable for a small child?

Many thanks in advance

Sorry I forgot to mention that we enjoy most types of cuisine although we are not especially big fans of fish / seafood

I%26#39;ve never been there , but maybe someone else will know it

here is a list of restaurants and snack places in the village that you could maybe google for reviews

Children are very welcome in restaurants in France and they can share some of the adult%26#39;s food -just ask for an extra plate. I would make sure the child was%26#39;nt too tired and grumpy so as not to annoy folk at other tables. Its agood idea to have some sort of quiet distaction with you eg book or something like a mini magnadoodle

Thanks for the tips - we would be eating lunchtime or early evening so tiredness shouldn%26#39;t be too much of an issue hopefully.

Thanks again, if anyone else can offer any insight I would be grateful

When my kids were small we used to go to La Faucado as it has a large enclosed garden to eat in. Walk past and check the menu as it was many years ago when I last had lunch there.

The other place that comes to mind is just below Gassin. The restaurant has 2 knives%26amp;forks in Michelin. They have a large terrace overlooking the Bay of St Tropez. It is set among the vineyards belonging to Chateau Minuty. It would make for a lovely lunch.

La Faucado has a good reputation, but it%26#39;s pricier than the other options in LGF.

I think the 2-3 restaurants on Place du Marché are fine (i can%26#39;t remember all of them, but La Colombe Joyeuse comes to mind), and the plaza has a relaxing atmosphere to it. Plus it%26#39;s nice to have some room for kids to safely roam close by.

Right next to Place du Marché is the Place Vieille. The few restaurants there are family-owned. They%26#39;re mostly equivalent - nothing too fancy, no greasy spoon either, so you can pick one that appeals to you.

The Place de l%26#39;Hotel de Ville in front of the Tourism Office is another nice little plaza in LGF, but I don%26#39;t remember seeing a restaurant there.

Enjoy!
