We will be in the port of Villefranche. We want to go to the Grand Casino but 2 people in our party are elderly and can%26#39;t walk well. The ship excursion has a lot of steps. Is it possible to get a taxi outside port and they will take us to the door of the casino? Will we easily be able to get a taxi back?

There are usually a couple of taxi%26#39;s hovering at Port Sante where the tenders discharge for the self-same reason.

There is a rank just beside where you land but the drivers are usually advertising guided tours, so not sure how keen they will be on a simple fare for a fairly short distance. You might need to negotiate a special price. There are not usually more than four or five taxis on the rank, so they can disappear quite quickly. You will have no problem getting one back.
