Car Renting in Paris

hello all, I%26#39;m planning to go on a trip to France and one of two weeks i want to travel from Paris to some other parts of Frace and that%26#39;s why i%26#39;m willing to rent a car for it. Can any of you give me some sugestion on this? what are the costs except the renting day fee? I am also looking for a renting company that doesn%26#39;t require a credit card, only debit cards.

This does not exist.





Any reputable rental car company will insist that the driver have a credit card on file. This is a precautionary measure to limit their loss in the event the driver is responsible for any damage or other liability.





Debit cards may have no more than a few euros behind them upon which a rental car company may make a claim. With a credit card, the company will at least have access to funds up to your available credit limit.





As for rentals themselves, one or two day rentals may be no cheaper than 3 day rentals. With a host of one time fees including road taxes and pickup surcharges, short term rentals are very expensive. For periods of 3 days or longer I recommend using a rental broker who has access to the best deals:
