I rent this apartment for October 2009.

Has anyone stayed in that apartment? Is it as accommodating as the pictures make it appear?
Any problems or concerns that we should be aware of in advance? Are there any good places to eat nearby the apartment that you would recommend?
The owner, Bruno, is ok? We must to pay him a security deposit.

I can%26#39;t help with the specific apartment, but we rented one from Vacation In Paris last month that was in the same building. We have been to Paris a couple of times so knew the location and knew that is what we wanted. The street itself has a few restaurants, and an excellent boulangerie as well as various shops. There is a good grocery store about a block away, and there are 2 metro stations very close by, and at one of those a taxi where there were taxis all the time. I know nothing about the apartment itself. If you feel uneasy, I%26#39;d ask Bruno for a reference of one person who has stayed there which you can call.
It is generally a good area with lots of shopping on rue Saint Honore (if you type in the address in maps.google.com and choose street view, you can wander around the neighborhood). Myself, I%26#39;d prefer Le Marais over this area but that is personal preference.
The photo is take with a wide angle lens so just realize it is 24 square meters which is a little over 200 square feet.
