Lads weekend

I am looking to go to France for my 23rd Birthday (the recession has halted anywhere further).

Plan to drive to Calais but am not sure where to stay, will be either a Thursday/Friday - Sunday in mid-late November.

Roughly 8 23 year olds, not idiots but do want to party until late and have a good time on the cheap with friendly locals.

Looked at Lille but heard it%26#39;s not very good and looking at Lens but not finding much info.

Suggestions would be welcome and appreciated...

Amiens, about 1-1.5hrs from Calais. A busy university city with loads of youngsters your age.
