There are 4 of us flying into Chambery on a Saturday at the end of Feb 2010 and staying in Vaujany/Alpe D%26#39;Huez. I%26#39;ve tried to research public transport but cannot find anything reasonable. I%26#39;d like to avoid hiring a car but may have to if we can%26#39;t find anything else. Has anyone any suggestions?

Fail in that i can wholly recommend Autoeurope for car hire www.auto-europe.co.uk , 0800 169 9797.
have used them many times and have never had any problems.
