Hi does anybody know of any free WiFi hotspots around Uzes other than the Mercure Hotel? Was thinking maybe a bar/cafe or other public building. I know there are plenty in Nimes. Any advice gratefully accepted!

The only one I know is at the Mediatheque, which is in the old town. Opening times vary, always shut at lunchtimes, of course, but they are always open on market days - Weds and Saturdays, although it may only be mornings on a Saturday, can%26#39;t remember. There is a large room on the top floor for quiet research/internet use. Other than that we use the internet cafe.

Just remembered, my husband did use wifi at the tourist office once. It hasn%26#39;t been set up for long, nobody seemed to know how to use it, and was a bit of a hassle. However, when we return next month we might try it again - a whole summer of tourists might have improved it!
