I DO NOT recommend Fonquest !

I do NOT recommend Fonquest!

It really sad to know that I%26#39;m not along on this problem.

Only difference in my case that first charge by Fonquest was 400Euro (600$), one month later again 600Euro (900$) and,

try to believe it, this month my credit card was charged again for 500$ WITHOUT ANY DESCRIPTION...

So, 5 days cell-phone rent for more than 1000$... is it the way to do a business?!

Good lack for thus ho use this service without problem (till now).

Just by curiosity, go to cite-Fonquest and read FAQ%26#39;s. Here it clearly mentioned that information about you kept by company (perhabs it%26#39;s normal). Try to reach somebody here (not sails-representatives at the desck in airport) - you%26#39;ll see it just impassible.

So, I do NOT recommend Fonquest.

I have had no experience with this company.

Too bad you did not do a search on that company name here.

You must dispute the charges through you credit card company.

Several months ago this company threatened a lawsuit against a TA poster and also demanded that the poster%26#39;s threads be removed from this site. Those complaints were removed but a few other poster%26#39;s complaints remain.

I hope you get credited back all the extra charges.

haven%26#39;t we been telling people to not rent a phone? You can buy one for $50, (or $10 used). Buy a prepaid SIM and you can never be overcharged.

Hey, it is so great to see so many first post newbies on this thread. Welcome to all of you and I look forward to many more posts here from you all. It is so refreshing to have some new blood on the forum (welcome to you too, Discover and Bibimbob, who are regulars of course). Mobile phone rental is a hot topic.

There were complaints posted here about this particular company. In this day and age not too many people rent phones anymore and especially not at this unreal cost. Even buying a compatible mobile phone and the cost of making and receiving calls on it would not come close. Perhaps next time you can consider other options. It%26#39;s just a lesson you had to learn the hard way I%26#39;m afraid.
