Loire Castle tours

Hello!

I have found several website offering full day tours to the Loire valley.

my question is this - do they all allow for time INSIDE castles, or is this just a drive by ?

I saw someone mention to opt to take a tour with just 2 castles, but i can%26#39;t seem to find anything online.

this will only be a day trip from Paris, and i realize that to physically tour all 4 might not be possible, but we certainly don%26#39;t want to just drive by them without exploring.

is there a suggestion of a tour that will actually take us inside, and provide transportation to and from the hotel?

we do not wish to take the train or metro and do it on our own.

On most (if not all) of these tours you will spend about 7 of your 12 - 14 hours away sitting on a bus, a lot of that time on the Autoroute.

The first tour claims to do 3 Chateau as well as lunch. I cant see how they can give you much time in more than 2 of the chateau and still make it back to Paris on time. I assume by what they say on the website you do go into at least cheverny, and there%26#39;s no point doing a driveby of Chenonceaux, because you cant see it from the road.

It%26#39;s an awful long day though - not sure when you%26#39;re going to get an evening meal!
