I%26#39;m driving down to Saumur in Loire Valley over two days from Callais with my fiance. We would like to spend these two days somewhere nice on the journey down.
We would like to visit Monet%26#39;s garden which is North West of Paris (Giverny) on the 1st day, does anyone know of a nice town / village near here to stay?
Any ideas for the 2nd day between Giverny and Saumur?

Please buy or borrow a guidebook...it will give you a far better way to make a decision than relying on people to just tell you where to go.
