Hi! We are trying to decide when to visit the Normandy area this fall and would like to know when the fall foliage changes color. Also, when are the trees pretty much bare? Thanks for the info!

For starters, you need to know that the %26quot;Fall%26quot; foliage color changes in Europe do not tend to be as spectacular as they are in the USA.
However, late October/ early November is a wonderful time to visit both Normandy and Brittany - the tourists are, for the most part gone, and you can really explore the region without the crowds.
