We are arriving in Paris from London via the Eurostar Train which arrives at Gare Nord. Our hotel is nearest to the Ecole Militaire metro station. Which is the best way to get there? We will buying a packet of 10 tickets (I think it%26#39;s called a carnet?)

From the Gare du Nord get metro line 4 direction Porte D%26#39;orleans, to Strasbourg St Dennis and then change to metro line 8 direction Balard, to Ecole Militaire. There is an escalator up at Eclole Militaire but I am not sure if you will have to go up and down steps at Strasbourg St Dennis. You can buy carnets of 10 tickets at Gare du Nord from the many machines in the station.
Alternatively you can get a taxi outside the Gare du Nord from the taxi rank at the end of the platform.
