Flying Nice to Paris Sept 28, fares have quadrupled

The fares were $79 a couple of weeks ago, now they are $531. Am I doing something wrong? There are lots of flights per day, it%26#39;s hard to believe it could go up that much. Thanks for any help you can offer!

From €46,99 here: http://www.easyjet.com/

could be any number of reasons. You will never get any logical sense for airline fares. It has always been thus.

I looked into this as I will be doing this leg in October. Looks like to me that Air France offers cheap one way travel 45 days in advance. You are already too close in time. However, you can book a round trip Nice/Paris and it will just cost you double the cheap one way (around $150) and just not use the return portion. I have to thank you for posting this as I would have had no idea and waited too long to buy my one way. For you, it looks like you can go with easyjet, as someone else suggested, the train or pay the round trip fare. Maybe don%26#39;t wait too long to decide or else check the Air France website for r/t fares to see at what point they will go up. If one way fares go up at some point prior to travel date, stands to reason r/t fares will also.

The other problem is possibly that the limited number of extra cheap seats that has been allocated for that particular date have all been taken and you are moving up the scale to full fare or even business class if there are no economy seats left.

Its always wiser to book when the cheap price is showing rather than wait.
