from brussels to barcelona by bike

Hi,

I%26#39;m planning a journey of 30 days from brussels to barcelona by bike. I%26#39;m wondering which places/cities i especially have to see in France - Provence. Are there recommended routes for cyclists? Hope someone can give me some tips. Thanks

I%26#39;ve been in parts of France where the local authorities have put together coherent cycle routes, but I%26#39;ve never checked whether they all join up aross the country! However, I found some links:

www.af3v.org/CarteAF3V/carte-detaillee.html - the detailed map of the French sections. It looks like there are a lot more sections projected than completed, but you may be able to string some together to make a pleasant itinerary.

Our experience is that cycling on minor roads is OK in France, as drivers are considerate (possibly not as good as in Belgium and Holland, but much better than England!)

viamichelin.com/viamichelin/…MaHomePage.htm is useful for route-finding, as you can use the tourist information button to find out more about different areas - though you may do better in the initial planning stages to their printed guide book (or any other guide you can find) to decide which areas appeal to you on your journey.
